This is funny

If you’re like me, and most other people who hang around the over-hyped world internet marketing, you buy far too much stuff.

Programs you never use.

Videos you never watch.

Ebooks you never read.

Why do we do it?

Well, most of us are always looking for the easy route to riches, even though we know it doesn’t exist. And we’re sucked in by great sales letters that promise the earth…and maybe, just this once, you think “this will be the one to deliver.”

Here’s a great little marketing ebook salesletter…don’t be sucked into buying it though :)

Martin Avis @ 8:25 am:

Phil,

Thanks so much for recommending the Stupid book. I was very fortunate to be able to grab one of the first 49.

My bank refused to loan me the money to buy it, so at first I was stumped. I could smell opportunity, but it seemed so far away.

In the end, I hit on a pretty good solution. I have three children and they all fetched a pretty penny on Ebay. The postage was steep, but what with that and my wife’s kidney, we managed to scrape up the necessary.

I figured that this was such a cast iron cert that I’d be able to buiy the kids back in no time, but it still brought a small tear to our eyes as they drove off in the DHL van.

All I can say is wow!

The stupid book really rocks. It lives up to its claims 432%!!!

The cash is rolling in now, just a few hours after I put it down and doors are opening all over the place.

Serge and Brin have called about a JV. Billy G (or the Gatester as he’s asked us to call him) is building a new wing on his home so we can pop over to stay any time we like. It really is unbelievable!

I fancy dippng my toes in the property market with some of my new-found wealth. Australia looked good, but I understand that ‘the Master’ has already snapped it up. I gather nobody is much interested in Tasmania, so I might have a gamble by putting in an offer.

Thanks again for putting this incredible opportunity our way.

Martin

PS. We are in negotiation to get the kids back. It shouldn’t take too long. The kidney is a bit harder. Do you know anyone with a spare?

Howdy Guys (Gals Too)

I wasn’t going to check this out “a great little marketing ebook salesletter” but after reading Martin’s inspiring tale of how well it was working for him, I’m just going to have to spend some time (and Money) there.

I hope this is an affiliate link for you Phil, I wouldn’t want Cody stealing your commision from you.

Hey it just dawned on me, we don’t have any kids to sell, does anyone have a couple we could “Borrow” for a little while?

I hope the site is as good as Martin’s story…LOL
