# 1. look at this
Isn’t that hot?

# 2. excellent new PPC tools.
Ok, all I was going to write about today was Speed PPC - see the
3 minute video on this page to see why
It’s an amazing piece of software from my long time friend Allan
Gardyne, and his business partner and all-round technical whiz
kid, the boy genius, Jay Stockwell.
Even though both Allan and Jay live in the same state of Australia
as me (but about 8 or 9 hours drive away) I first met Allan in
Vegas, at a Mark Joyner seminar, and Jay in Washington DC at Yanik’s
Underground seminar (where we skipped off to Starbucks with that
cool dude Damon Zahariades).
But it wouldn’t be fair to single out that one pay per click tool
when two others have just been released.
and
______tutorial sidenote ________
When you’re writing email newsletters, autoresponders, or anything
similar you should only promote ONE product if you want to make
a lot of $.
By talking about a number of products, like I am here, you cost
yourself sales. People have to make a choice. This kills some
sales. So don’t give people a choice and you’ll earn more.
Luckily (for reasons I’ll reveal in a month or two) I can still
afford to fly around the world first class, so I don’t need to do
the hard sell. But if you’re only breaking even or your earnings are
low, promote one product at a time and see a sales increase.
The only exception to this is when you put up a comparison site
where you ‘review’ three or more products in a side-by-side table.
Though nearly every time with these review pages you’ll find that
the ‘best’ product is the one that pays the person owning the site
the most in commissions.
Fair enough. We’re all in this business to earn a living. Just be
aware of it.
______end ________
Right, back to what I was saying.
A couple of weeks ago Allan sent me a review copy of Speed PPC.
And it’s exceptional.
After being in the Internet business for 10 or 11 years, it’s his
first ever product - until now he’s earned his (very high) income
purely as an affiliate.
And because of what it does Speed PPC is definitely my pick of
the bunch.
I’m not just saying that because he’s a friend, but because of what
it does, which is cut down a whole month’s worth of time-consuming,
tedious, fiddly, repetitive pay per click work into just a few
minutes.
Basically, what it will do is take a bunch of keywords you feed it,
then massively expand that list by targeting USA states and city
names, plus UK town and city names, and a whole bunch of other
lists. So it automatically creates massive "long tail" keyword
lists and then it binds them together into hundreds of tight, small
ad groups that would normally take weeks to do.
And it does all this in just a couple of minutes.
Then, and this is the really clever part, it links every single
keyword into a dynamically generated landing page that is perfectly
matched to the keyword. This landing page is synched with tracking
mechanisms to help ensure that every keyword is profitable. You get
really good Google Quality Scores, too.
And that’s only part of it.
Stuff that was just too tedious to do because it would take months
can now be done in minutes.
You need to see the video to believe it.
It will also create your Google Adword ads, and then duplicate them
all on MSN. (it can’t yet work with the Yahoo version of Adwords,
probably because we Aussies can’t get Yahoo advertising accounts)
I’m very impressed with the built-in datafeed integration, which
lets you to grab a merchants datafeed, and extremely quickly create
a campaign around every product that merchant is selling.
These campaigns link to a pre selling landing page on your site that
matches the keywords of each of the products in the datafeed. Then
the landing page automatically created links to the merchants site
via your affiliate link.
Yesterday I wrote to Jay with a few questions and here’s the answer
I got back:
_______________________
"What it allows you to do in practice is to take an affiliate
program datafeed, create a campaign around every product, which
then links into a pre-selling landing page on your own site
that’s matched exactly to the product keywords. This then deep
links into the merchants site via your affiliate link.
So if there are 1000 products, you could create 1000 ad
groups (1 per product), thousands of perfectly matched ads
that refer to the product exactly. These will then link into
1000 landing pages with the right images and content pulled
from the original datafeed, which then deep links into the
affiliate merchant site.
Now this would normally take weeks or months to do manually.
With the SpeedPPC System, you could pull this off in half a
day or less."

It does a number of other things too, but the best thing for you to
do right now is go to the the site to read about it and watch the
short video.
PPC Riches does many things in a similar way, but one thing it’s
lacking is the ability to expand your keywords lists and make
hundreds or thousands of ads and landing pages at warp speed.
One thing it does really well though, is to block all the Adwords
spy tools out there to make your landing pages and "direct linking
campaigns" copy proof. It also adds content rich keyword focused
article directories to your site, to help reduce your cost per click.
Again, it seems good, robust software, which does a great job of
speeding up your pay per click campaigns. It’s a lot cheaper than
Speed PPC but it has a monthly fee to contend with.
The main benefit of the third tool, Affiliate Radar, is that it
lets you import / export entire PPC campaigns among the top 3 PPC
networks - Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing, and MSN adCenter.
Right now it’s the only tool that does this.
It also lets you track profitable/unprofitable keywords (so that
you can dump the ones that aren’t performing.
In case you’re still confused these 3 tools are all different to
the batch of PPC spy tools, like Google Cash Detective, that have
appeared over the past few months. And they actually work in tandem
with those programs.
You need both.
Like it or not if you’re using PPC to promote affiliate programs
and you’re not tracking your results, or you’re using a time
consuming manual system such as a spreadsheet, and if you’re still
doing all your landing pages manually, you ‘have’ to get one or
more of these tools.
If you don’t you’re going to get trampled by the affiliates using
automation.
So, to be blunt, you either join in or you find another way to
generate profits.

# 3. why I haven’t promoted Membersite Bootcamp.
A few people have written and asked why I haven’t promoted
Membersite Bootcamp this past week.
It’s because I only write about products I’ve personally reviewed,
which means I’ve either purchased them or been sent a copy
for review.
This has been my policy for a long time, and I’m sure that I lose
a lot of money by sticking to it. The thing is, I got bitten once
or twice early on in my Internet career by recommending something
that turned out to be poor, and vowed not to do it again.
However good the product might be.
And I’m sure Membersite Bootcamp is really good.
I know a few people who went to the original seminar and said things
like "awesome, you shoulda been there."
Anyway, a few months ago Tim (Kerber) asked me if I was interested
in promoting it. I said ‘probably’ so he sent me an affiliate link
but the preview DVD’s never arrived. So by not promoting it I’ve
turned down some healthy affiliate commissions this week.
In fact it’s cost me money in more ways than one - because I got
out my well worn credit card and bought it
Just in case you haven’t bought it but want it (and seeing I had
enough confidence in it to buy it) I’ll - at last - give you my
aff link
But…while I’m talking about member sites I’d better let you know
that Ryan Deiss is opening up his 30 Days member site training
program again, which gives you hands on training and more.
Like last time it’s only open to 25 people, which is the limit he
can handle and still give you the attention you deserve.
(note: it’s best to opt-in to the follow-up mailings because he’ll
probably come up with something for the many of you who miss
out on the initial 25. I know he did last time. And he’ll not abuse
your email address)
I wrote about Ryans membership site training program in early June,
(which is the previous time he offered it) when I viewed all the
material - watched the videos, read the pdf’s, listened to the
conference calls)
It’s quality training.
Anyway, the 25 available spots will get taken very quickly. Last
time he sold out in 4 mins flat

# 4. your surprise bonus
Here’s a new semi regular slot in my newsletter. An after the event
bonus.
If you bought Killer Video Infomercials (tutorials on producing
videos for the internet) via my aff link in last weeks newsletter
email me at phil.suggests AT gmail.com and I’ll send you the
download link to a surprise bonus.
I know it’s more common for affiliates to offer a bonus to get you
to buy something, but I thought I’d give it a twist and do something
different this time
>From now on you’ll never know when a surprise bonus will be offered

# 5. how would you like a 40gigs a second Internet access?
(Someone sent me this, so I can’t credit the newspaper it’s probably
taken from)
"She is a latecomer to the information superhighway, but
75-year-old Sigbritt Lothberg is now cruising the Internet with
a dizzying speed. Lothberg’s 40 gigabits-per-second fiber-optic
connection in Karlstad is believed to be the fastest residential
uplink in the world, Karlstad city officials said.
In less than 2 seconds, Lothberg can download a full-length movie
on her home computer — many thousand times faster than most
residential connections, said Hafsteinn Jonsson, head of the
Karlstad city network unit.
Jonsson and Lothberg’s son, Peter, worked together to install
the connection.
The speed is reached using a new modulation technique that allows
the sending of data between two routers placed up to 1,240 miles
apart, without any transponders in between, Jonsson said.
"We wanted to show that that there are no limitations to Internet
speed," he said.
Peter Lothberg, who is a networking expert, said he wanted to
demonstrate the new technology while providing a computer link
for his mother.
"She’s a brand-new Internet user," Lothberg said by phone from
California, where he lives. "She didn’t even have a computer
before."
His mother isn’t exactly making the most of her high-speed
connection. She only uses it to read Web-based newspapers."

That’s a bit different to my connection which is only about 40 gigs
a year. And only works every other day
ok, that’s it for today. Hope you found at least one thing interesting and/or useful.
