Why people unsubscribe from ezines
I’ve had 63 unsubs in the past 2 years. It’s probably so low because I don’t mail out often enough. I definitely got more unsubs when I wrote my newsletter weekly.
The most common reasons are: too much email, too many newsletters, sick of all the spam.
But I’ve just checked through the unsub comments and here are the most interesting ones.

I am 75 years young and I have heard it all, everyone has a way to make me rich, all I have to do is send you or someone some money, now when that happens who is making who rich I have gotten very close to believing that EVERYTHING on the internet is a scam ! I couldn’t buy anything else if it was free and delivered. The well is DRY………..

I went to your site full of trust and the first “Free CD” lead me to a site that wanted to charge me $6 “postage” for the free CD and to sollect all my e-mail and personal details. Thought yours looked like not a scam.

Sorry you’ve been ill, Phil. Unfortunately, your site has, too, with very explicit porn…so, rather than have my stomach churn any longer, I unsubscribed.

I get way too much email to read and have to cut back. I am currently not using the information in your newsletter as I don’t have a lot of time. But, your site will remain in my favorites, so I’m not really leaving.

too many emails not enough valuable info———if your going to sell something give something away to lure tight ass people like me then hook em!

Sorry Phil, but I’ve listened to Rich Schefren and I know that that is where I want to head (and always did but never knew how).
Since then, I’ve unsubcribed to so many newsletters and monthly subscriptions its unbelievable. I have practically no outgoings now, don’t buy any more crap software, and am now building “My Business” (wink wink - which I started a few weeks ago through Ken Evoy (again)).
However, a big thank you to the only (all of three people) that I can honestly say that I ‘trusted’ and helped me online.
They are:
Phil Wiley (who the hell is he anyway!)
Alan Gardyne
Ken Evoy
And that is my list!!

Your writings on PLR were so transparent, your credability dropped to zero!

Taking a break from marketing emails in order to clear my head, seek the Lord, and find out what He wants me to be doing. Thanks, Phil .. I wish you much success in leading others to be successful.

I’ve decided it’s better (in many ways) to be the lone ranger.
Why not …er… add useful pages that you have created yourself that have taken as much effort, say, as Charles Dickens put into a page of his prose. Phew. What’s that smell. It’s my black hat burning (and boy does it stink).
Comments:
you don’t return my emails - I’m taking you off my list, too.
You’ve tolerated an intolerable amount of lies and bashing of me and my products on your forum - not nice.
