Last issue I wrote about Neil Shearing’s excellent new ebook and video about inventive and time tested ways of getting quality links to your site. The better the links you can get, the higher your sites will rise in the search engines, which means more traffic to your sites.
You can read my thoughts on it here
Traffic is just a word for more people coming to our sites. People who earn your money by taking the action that you want them to follow.
You might want them to click on the Google Adsense ads on your sites, in which case you’d structure the sites to lead people to clicking on those ads. Some people do that by making the ads the most interesting thing on their sites
But that’s not ideal for long-term success.
You might just want to sell them something by sending them away again via an affiliate link. And that’s fine as long as the affiliate program converts really well.
But for long term success what you really need to do is collect the contact details of those people coming to your sites. And you do that by getting them to subscribe to your ezines, or onto a mailing list by giving them something valuable they can only get by giving you a legitimate email address.
If you think you can take the easy option and forget about building mailing lists, and just concentrate on grabbing a quick affiliate sale, think again.
Your site might be doing well in the search engines now, but what if it slips down the rankings? What if falls out of favor with Google and vanishes from sight?
Ok, I know that getting your sites to the top of the search engines isn’t the only way to get more visitors.
# You can do a lot of forum posting.
# You can write articles.
# You can join traffic exchanges (though I’m not sure how well they work these days).
# You can spend a lot of time hyping things up and commenting on web 2.0 sites.
# And something else you can do is buy advertising to get people to your site.
But if you’ve concentrated on developing a mailing list you can forget about all that, because all you have to do to make sales, and to make an income, is develop a relationship with the people on your list (lists) and make sales to them.
It’s what I do, it’s what all those big time ‘guru’s’ showing you pictures of their fancy cars and toys do. They do it, we do it, because it means long term success.
You just know that I’m going to promote something about list building here, don’t you
So I’ll not keep you waiting any longer
It’s called Listcrew, and you’re probably going to hear about it from a few big names – not because it’s expensive and is going to make them heaps in commissions (in fact it doesn’t cost anything) but they’re going to tell you about it because they intend using it on their sites.
It’s just launched today, and it’s important new tool for your arsenal because once you’ve set it up it’s fully automated.
Yep, it it builds your mailing lists while you sleep, or you’re out shopping, or you’re on vacation.
Like I’ve said, labored over higher up, list building is vital to the long term success of your online business. And anyone who has been in the game a while knows the huge importance of continually growing their lists.
But sometimes it’s a time-devouring pain in the *** (insert your word of choice here).
There’s no pain with Listcrew though. You set it up once, leave it running, and subscribers pour in.
I know because years ago I used Subscription Rocket, which was an early version of Listcrew, and it really exploded my list, very quickly gaining me thousands of subscribers.
Now I’m really happy that this revamped, updated, supersonic version has arrived.
Basically it’s what’s known as a co-registration service, and it works by letting you use the power and traffic of other people’s websites.
To use it, all you have to do is paste one line of code into the footer of your blog, or onto your website, and you show ads for other people’s newsletters and mailing lists on your site.
In return you’ll earn credits, or points, which let you display your own mailing list and newsletter ads on their site (sites).
Without a list you have no prospects, without prospects you have no customers, without customers you have no revenue. And without money coming in you have no business.
So it’s vitally important that you do SOMETHING to develop or grow a list.
And because Listcrew is automated it’s the easiest option around. It’s also very fast and easy to do – just one line of code – and it’s VERY effective.
If you sign up via my referral link you’ll receive 2,250 credits. If you skip my link and just type in Listcrew you’ll only receive 250 traffic credits.
Big difference
if you sign up today, on launch day, I believe you’ll also get a bonus, though perhaps that’s just the extra 2000 credits I can give you.
You’re also given – get this for a great bonus – a free copy of AdTrackResponderPro – a fully featured autoresponder that you install on your own domain. It’s usually $197, so that’s a fantastic deal.
Listcrew is really the kind of thing you need to see in action. It’s hard to explain it properly in words. So follow my link and watch the videos of it in action.
And also check out those testimonial videos from the people who have been beta testing it.
It’s simple, and it works. So grab it now while it’s still free to sign up
