Gidday Phil,

Had I have known you were going to waste such a good bottle of champagne I would have jumped in the car and come up to help you celebrate.

Then at least one of us would have had the palate that could appreciate the seductive powers of such a delicate mouth full of bubbles.

Only trouble is.....with all those clouds coming into your living room, it would have been extremely difficult to eyeball the beauty of the promiscuous bead as it danced in the glass then exploded into flared nostrils giving fair warning to the palate of the impending sensory pleasures.

And yes....I couldn't agree more with your newsletter list (not too many seppos on the list though are there? :-)

Cheers

Phil, I rarely comment on any blogs but I wanted to congratulate you on your anniversary and wish you many more. Your newsletter is one I came across a long time back, when I first got interested in Internet Marketing, and it is one of the few that I always make time to read.

I like your style and although I have yet to really push anything out there myself (grr...I need more action!), it is one I aim to emulate. I like that you come across as a real person and what you do seems very achievable.

I wish you continued success, and hope to join the ranks of the self-employed Internet Marketers myself - when that happens, you will be one of the people I consider responsible.

Thanks for listing me as one of your favorite newsletters. I really appreciate it. It's funny, because I was thinking about writing something similar for my 10 year anniversary.

Yep. it's hard to believe, but Sept 05 2009 marks the 10th year since my first ebook, Nothing but 'Net was published. And you my friend, were instrumental in helping get the word out. I'll always be appreciative of that gesture.

Yours is one of the few newsletters that I continue to read. I've removed myself from all the noise, clutter and distractions. Everyone claiming and chasing the next big thing, when marketing fundamentals - like focus, determination, quality content, and building a readership - are all that's required.

It's also 10 years since I started my newsletter and consultancy. I've written four books, 11 whitepapers, 171 newsletters, answered 7,000 email questions and performed over 500 private consultations. To quote a famous lyric, "What a long strange trip it's been." :-)

I think it's almost time to pack it up. I'll probably quit the coaching this year. But as a writer, if you really are a writer, you can't stop it from coming out. ;-)

Thanks Phil, for 12 wonderful fun-filled years. I always look forward to my "letter from Phil."

Congratulations, Phil.

I think I must have read just about all of your newsletters.

I don't know how I would have financed my divorce without you ;-)
