You know I like to keep things simple online.

Nothing complex. Which is probably why I build mini sites and write all my own easy-to-read content

Most likely I’m just sticking close to my personality. Simple and laid back.

I like simple web sites. Simple ways of making money. A laid back life.

But I still get by

Having said that, I don’t make anywhere near as much from one site as Paul Evans, who pulls in over $25k a month from one simple little member site in a niche I didn’t even know existed.

Paul doesn’t hold anything back on that page. He reveals his simple member site method, shows you exactly what the niche is, tells you how much he charges and even how many members he’s got.

Not only that, he also shows you his formula for success.

Here it is:

a)Â Adwords for traffic.

b)Â Build a list with a landing page.

c)Â Hit people with the member site offer ($9.95 a month)

d)Â Provide good value.

And this one site in a tiny niche has 2665 members paying Paul $9.95 a month, which brings in a very tasty $26,516 monthly. I’ve done the math for you – it adds up to $318k a year.

Now let’s go way, way, over the top and say that he spends half of that on advertising and other costs (which I happen to know is a massive exaggeration) that still leaves him with a big $150,000 in profits.

And that’s for a small site which takes hardly any time to run.

You’re not going to believe the niche when you see it.

Anyhow, Paul’s now teaching his simple member site success formula, and it’s genius.

It’s simple, and it works in almost any niche.

He’s written down his process, he’s shot videos, he’s documented every step, and it’s almost embarrassingly easy.

That a,b,c,d formula I gave you above is too simplistic of course.

You need the rest filling in. How to do it all, what tweaks and twists you need to add.

In fact Paul is now building these simple member sites following a new and improved formula because he found he was making a number of mistakes along the way.

He reveals it all here

It’s one of the most revealing sales pages I’ve ever seen.

Paul tells you much of what he does (though he keeps the exact details back for the member area of course), plus there’s zero hype. And he’s not going to hit you with any upsells or downsells or monthly fees either.

When you think how much his method and formula can earn you, the low cost of learning it all is a pleasant bargain.

It’s the kind of thing he could have bloated onto a bunch of DVD’s and charged a grand for. But he didn’t

As a big fan of the SEO optimized Thesis theme for WordPress, I use it on most of my blogs.

And the newly released 1.6 upgrade is a great new version of Thesis.

In my opinion (and that of many big name bloggers) blogs built with the Thesis theme definitely do better in the search engines than blogs using other themes. But for me its biggest attraction is that it’s so simple to change the layout and the look of your blog.

Do you want to stop it looking like a blog? A few simple clicks in the admin area and you can make it look like a site built with Dreamweaver or XsitePro and the only way people will know it’s a blog is by looking at the source code.

Do you want to make it look like a salesletter page? Takes 30 seconds if that.

This is definitely the easiest and smartest blog theme I’ve ever used.

One site I haven’t used it on is philwiley.com, because I’ve got lots of pages on that blog and Thesis didn’t handle drop down page menus.

Until now that is.

Last week the latest version of Thesis was released and along with a great new interface for customizing the look and colors of your blog, it now offers drop down page menus.

So as soon as I could I installed it on philwiley.com. Which means you’re seeing it in action now

It took me perhaps 5 minutes to change from the old look of the blog. Still might fiddle with the look a bit, by adding a background image instead of the dark gray background, but to add the header image, the border around the body, and a few other things was really simple and fast.

Using an ordinary WordPress theme this would taken my ages. But with Thesis it hardly takes anytime because changing the look is mainly point and click.

Want 1, 2, or 3 columns? It’s a simple as checking a box.

Want to change the header image or the background? Well there’s no delving into the CSS which is the way you have to do it with an ordinary WordPress theme – with Thesis you just drop the new code you want into a box in the admin area. It’s so simple that even I can do it without making mistakes, and I’m about as far from being a technie as you can imagine. My brain just doesn’t work that way

Anyway, here’s a short video from Chris Pearson (the genius developer) showing you how simple it is to make fast changes to the look, and the colors, of your blog.

http://philwiley.com/recommends/Thesis/

Don’t judge the theme just by looking at philwiley.com. Check out all the custom looks in the site showcase on the Thesis site. Many pro bloggers are using it, including people from Google, because they know it’s the best theme to use for getting high search engine positions.

Thesis is not a free theme, but it’s well worth the investment – especially seeing all future upgrades are included in the deal. It’s SEO capabilities and it’s ease of use are awesome. Highly recommended for serious bloggers.

Licensed to Quit Your Job

The book written to show you how you can create a bridge – a gateway into Internet Marketing, fast!

guest review by Megan Henshall

What do I know about Internet Marketing?

Well actually, quite a bit more than I did a few days ago.

NOTE FROM PHIL: sadly this book is no longer available, but Tony now spills all his profit secrets in a monthly newsletter.
You can get a free sample here. I’ve been a subscriber since it launched and look forward to learning new stuff every month (Tony is a big tester of what currently works and what doesn’t. He spills all the details and keeps nothing back.

When I sat down to read Licensed to Quit, by Tony Shepherd and Sara Brown, I hadn’t a clue about how to create a product, how to create a system, how to get the all important traffic and build a mailing list.

In fact I was so green I didn’t even know what PLR* stood for! I had to Google it!! As far as Internet Marketing goes, I was what you could call a virtual virgin

I’m a girl – well, a woman actually – and all the recent talk about the feminisation of the web may be true, but before reading this book, I was really struggling to get my head around all this stuff.

Any feminists reading this are probably going to hate me – tough. I know my strengths, I know my weaknesses and I have to say mine follow the general female trend – talk too techie and I’ll glaze over. (Phil says I just talk too much, period!)

But guess what? This book made sense. Ok so I had to read it a couple of times – but I bet you will too if you’re a newbie like me.

Don’t get me wrong, Licensed to Quit is not all about earning enough money to buy a house within 24 hours!

What it does show you is how to start your own Internet business by creating a really simple income system to get some bread and butter money coming in fast whilst you get yourself established, thus enabling you to give up full time employment a heck of a lot quicker.

Sara and Tony have been successful, full time Internet Marketers for several years now. They’ll both tell you that a lot of time and effort went into achieving this.

However, a couple of months ago, they decided to trial a system they’d put together based upon their vast experience.

The result was Licensed to Quitwhich describes their really flexible, adaptable method of generating an income whilst only working with products you’re interested in.

So it doesn’t matter if you’re interested in e-books, audio, video, software, whatever – the system lends itself regardless.

The book is split into two parts.

Part one explains their thinking behind the method – why they did it, how they did it and includes real life examples and results showing their actual income figures.

Part two shows you how to do it for yourself!!

Sara and Tony, without frying your brain with too much techie talk, will show you

* How you can create unique products in a matter of hours

* The single most important thing for online success – and where to get it

* The secret of their ‘self funding’ system

* How each time used, the system will generate more red hot traffic for next time

* How they generate around a $1,000 each time they give away a free product

* Why limiting the number of products they sold brought them higher profits

* How they ended up owning unique, high quality, in demand products outright for free

* How to get ongoing viral traffic for no extra effort or cost, for as long as you like

* Why most people are ready to buy from you before they’ve even seen the price

* And of course how to ensure you get a constant flow of cash into your Paypal account

Like I said at the start – it’s not a get rich quick scheme, and you are going to have to put some work in.

But if like me, you’re just starting out and don’t already have a mailing list, and connections, and ideas coming out of your behind – just a regular person wanting to make a go out of earning money online but the penny hasn’t quite dropped yet, Licensed to Quit could be just the thing that finally flicks your switch so the light bulb comes on at long last!

Martin Avis’s Keyword LSI Spy software review

guest review by Megan Henshall

Keyword LSI Spy is Latent Semantic Indexing keyword software, designed to help get your articles and web pages ranked higher in the search engines

If you and I had been starting out in all this only a couple of years ago, things may have been a little easier for us – when it comes to writing that is!

Back then, so long as you included some basic but relevant keywords, you didn’t need to worry too much about the quality of what you were writing.

The result would be a pretty crude piece of copy but the search engines would pick it up regardless.

Phil used this example when he was explaining it to me -

Example – a holiday let in Ambleside

Looking for a holiday let in Ambleside? Well you’ve come to the right
place because this site is all about holiday let in Ambleside.

In fact we have got the best holiday let in Ambleside that you could possibly hope for, so when you come here on vacation you should stay with us.

To get details of our holiday let in Ambleside phone: 435364563463636

Thank you for visiting our holiday let in Ambleside web site.

Nowadays, Google would pick up a piece of writing like this and spit it right out – recognizing it for exactly what it is! Utter rubbish.

So how does it work now?

Well, have you heard of Latent Semantic Indexing?

No, I hadn’t either until the other day.

I was reading something about keywords on one of the forums when it cropped up. I was going to ask Phil what it was but then received an email from him telling me about it anyway.

********************

Latent Semantic Indexing is what the search engines (or at least google) are using now and it is an incredibly sophisticated, modern attempt at ensuring high quality indexing.

Or in laymen’s terms, they use it to rank only the best and most relevant posts/articles/pages etc.

So, whilst the blurb about a holiday let Ambleside wouldn’t get a look in as it stands, if it also contained latent semantic words and phrases like

English Lake District, family and children, walking holidays, lake, national park, self-catering, holiday cottages etc or “rains all the time” (only joking, although it does feel like it sometimes!) it would have a much better chance of being ranked by a search engine and placed before your potential customers eyes – even with the actual keywords, ”a holiday let Ambleside” included only once or twice!

Why? Because the way LSI works is a bit like humans do – it scans all documents and recognizes where clusterings of related words and terms appear.

So, as well as looking for the main keywords, LSI looks for other words and phrases relating to the same topic and knows when it’s found something stuffed with content rich copy.

It’s so clever that even if your document doesn’t contain the actual keyword, but does include lots of latent semantic words the search engine knows are associated with your niche, it will still pick it up.

Pretty cool hey?

So, what we need to do is work out a way to find out what all these lovely, latent semantic words relating to our niches are and then get them in our copy!!

And that’s why Phil emailed me.

********************

There’s this very clever English chap called Martin Avis who has just created a piece of software which does the job for you..which is just as well because I wouldn’t have a clue where to start!

Its called Keyword LSI Spy and its utterly fabulous – even I can see how marvelous it is going to be as I start to develop my own business online.

Keyword LSI Spy has been tried out for the past few weeks by a lucky few, all of whom have had incredible results.

I’ve played around with it for the first time tonight, and although I quickly realized its capable of things that I’ve yet to waken up to, its value to somebody just starting out is as great as that to any seasoned Internet marketer.

All you do is pop in your keyword and within seconds heaps of information on what the top ranked sites in that niche are up to is returned.

From this you can learn things like

Phrases and word combinations top ranked sites in your niche are using on their web pages and in their articles

What keywords and phrases you should be using

The optimum number of words you should have on your page to get ranked for your specific niche

The optimum keyword density pages and articles in your niche should have

Whether the keyword is in the URL

A list of all the keyword meta tags the top ranked sites are using

Thankfully, Martin has ensured that all the above is returned in an easy to understand format.

In fact he has made sure Keyword LSI Spy even provides you with lists of LSI words and Meta Keywords you can copy and paste into your own programs. What a nice man!

Starting out in Internet marketing is tough enough – we need all the help we can get.

Just think of the advantage you will have over anyone without access to this kind info!

Something tells me Keyword LSI Spy is going to make my first forays into writing for the Internet a lot less overwhelming than I first thought.

Note From Phil – Martin’s Keyword LSI Spy tool is no longer on sale. Not sure why. Maybe Martin got fed up of updating it as Google makes changes. However, here’s a website that does the same job for free, finding you multiple keywords and 2 and 3 word phrases related to your main keyword. It works well. No optin required, and nothing on sale. Just a free LSI Keyword site.http://lsikeywords.com/

Last issue I wrote about Neil Shearing’s excellent new ebook and video about inventive and time tested ways of getting quality links to your site. The better the links you can get, the higher your sites will rise in the search engines, which means more traffic to your sites.

You can read my thoughts on it here

Traffic is just a word for more people coming to our sites. People who earn you your money by taking the action that you want them to follow.

You might want them to click on the Google Adsense ads on your sites, in which case you’d structure the sites to lead people to clicking on those ads. Some people do that by making the ads the most interesting thing on their sites But that’s not ideal for long-term success.

You might just want to sell them something by sending them away again via an affiliate link. And that’s fine as long as the affiliate program converts really well.

But for long term success what you really need to do is collect the contact details of those people coming to your sites. And you do that by getting them to subscribe to your ezines, or onto a mailing list by giving them something valuable they can only get by giving you a legitimate email address.

If you think you can take the easy option and forget about building mailing lists, and just concentrate on grabbing a quick affiliate sale, think again.

Your site might be doing well in the search engines now, but what if it slips down the rankings? What if falls out of favor with Google and vanishes from sight?

Ok, I know that getting your sites to the top of the search engines isn’t the only way to get more visitors.

# You can do a lot of forum posting.

# You can write articles.

# You can join traffic exchanges (though I’m not sure how well they work these days).

# You can spend a lot of time hyping things up and commenting on web 2.0 sites.

# And something else you can do is buy advertising to get people to your site.

But if you’ve concentrated on developing a mailing list you can forget about all that, because all you have to do to make sales, and to make an income, is develop a relationship with the people on your list (lists) and make sales to them.

It’s what I do, it’s what all those big time ‘guru’s’ showing you pictures of their fancy cars and toys do. They do it, we do it, because it means long term success.

You just know that I’m going to promote something about list building here, don’t you

So I’ll not keep you waiting any longer

It’s called Listcrew, and you’re probably going to hear about it from a few big names – not because it’s expensive and is going to make them heaps in commissions (in fact it doesn’t cost anything) but they’re going to tell you about it because they intend using it on their sites.

It’s just launched today, and it’s important new tool for your arsenal because once you’ve set it up it’s fully automated.

Yep, it it builds your mailing lists while you sleep, or you’re out shopping, or you’re on vacation.

Like I’ve said, labored over higher up, list building is vital to the long term success of your online business. And anyone who has been in the game a while knows the huge importance of continually growing their lists.

But sometimes it’s a time-devouring pain in the *** (insert your word of choice here).

There’s no pain with Listcrew though. You set it up once, leave it running, and subscribers pour in.

I know because years ago I used Subscription Rocket, which was an early version of Listcrew, and it really exploded my list, very quickly gaining me thousands of subscribers.

Now I’m really happy that this revamped, updated, supersonic version has arrived.

Basically it’s what’s known as a co-registration service, and it works by letting you use the power and traffic of other people’s websites.

To use it, all you have to do is paste one line of code into the footer of your blog, or onto your website, and you show ads for other people’s newsletters and mailing lists on your site.

In return you’ll earn credits, or points, which let you display your own mailing list and newsletter ads on their site (sites).

Without a list you have no prospects, without prospects you have no customers, without customers you have no revenue. And without money coming in you have no business.

So it’s vitally important that you do SOMETHING to develop or grow a list.

And because Listcrew is automated it’s the easiest option around. It’s also very fast and easy to do – just one line of code – and it’s VERY effective.

If you sign up via my referral link you’ll receive 2,250 credits. If you skip my link and just type in Listcrew you’ll only receive 250 traffic credits.

Big difference

if you sign up today, on launch day, I believe you’ll also get a bonus, though perhaps that’s just the extra 2000 credits I can give you.

You’re also given – get this for a great bonus – a free copy of AdTrackResponderPro – a fully featured autoresponder that you install on your own domain. It’s usually $197, so that’s a fantastic deal.

Listcrew is really the kind of thing you need to see in action. It’s hard to explain it properly in words. So follow my link and watch the videos of it in action.

And also check out those testimonial videos from the people who have been beta testing it.

It’s simple, and it works. So grab it now while it’s still free to sign up

I’m back in Australia now, but one evening last week I was sitting in a bar in London with Armand Morin, Alex Goad, and an SEO expert called Gareth, and we were discussing linking and search engine ranking, and why some sites at the top of Google get those authority listings where several pages are listed, and why most sites don’t.

In case you don’t know quite what I mean here are a couple of examples.

First Allan Gardyne’s Associate programs website

and Armand’s site.

Wouldn’t you like your site to be listed like those?

I don’t know about you, but when I use Google (which is pretty much all the time) I’m much more likely to click on sites shown like this, than the sites listed with just a small description. I think it’s because I know they’re going to be legitimate, quality sites and know I won’t find myself landing on a spammy junk type site.

I don’t know if ‘authority listing’ is the correct term, or if we just made it up on the night, for lack of a better way to describe them. But authority fits, because this type of listing shows that Google sees them as the authority site on that topic, and they’ll probably always be in top spot.

Anyway, back to that bar in London.

After the four of us did a bit of arguing about how to get your sites listed like that, discussing things like the age of the site, and the quality of the content, Gareth the SEO guy had the final say by saying he’d done a lot of testing and got just about all his sites, and the sites of his clients, listed as authority sites.

“The quality of the content matters, of course. And it helps to have all the right pages on your site. A privacy page, an about page, etc. And the age of the site comes into it, ” said Gareth. “But in the end it’s all down to one main thing and that’s incoming links. And the quality of those links.”

Which brings us to Neil Shearing’s new ebook and videos:

“Top Linking Secrets: How To Get Massive Traffic From Top Search Engine Rankings Without Google Penalties.”

Top Linking Secrets, which is long for an ebook at 106 pages, is split into three sections: the first part explains the importance of link building, and the types of links you should be working on getting (quality links), but it soon moves into part two covering where and how you can get those links. Very detailed. And simple to follow.

Neil also explains why you should avoid getting links from low quality sites, and stay away from junk linking networks which might work for a while but will eventually see your site de-indexed, or sink so low in the search engine results that no one will ever see it.

Simply put, Neil explains that if you make sure you build quality sites with top quality content, other top quality sites will ‘want’ to link to you. It will be natural for them to link to you because you add something of value to the subject your site is about – and all you have to do is make sure these sites find you, or you tell them of your existence. You’ll learn all about it in the book.

In the third part of the book Neil gives you a detailed 7 day link building action plan to follow. Plus what to do in week 2, and week 3, and beyond that.

The book though is only part of Top Linking Secrets. Neil, and his wife Linda, also give you 5 videos which explain, or rather show you, a number of important link building methods. Plus there’s an audio interview on quality link building that Neil did with Louis Allport a few weeks ago, plus a PDF transcript of the audio.

So far I’ve only read the book. But I’m certain the videos will be very useful, and simplify some of the more technical points of the writing.

Don’t fall into the trap of under estimating the importance of working on building links to your site, or putting it off until later (which never arrives). To get on the front page of Google, and the other search engines, you need two things: good content, and lots of quality inbound or one-way links. Without them your website will be an also-ran and not get you the traffic you need to make your site a success.

> Get it here : Top Linking Secrets

And here’s an exclusive discount coupon I’ve arranged with Neil, to give you a $30 discount: phil

Anyway, don’t just take my word for the quality of this information from Neil and why you need it.

The experts below all understand the high importance of getting links, and they also know how good this link building training manual is. That’s why they’ve endorsed it with these comments:

“I highly recommend this book to anyone who struggles with link building”
Dr Andy Williams, EZseonews

“If you’re having trouble getting your pages ranked well, and trouble getting good links to your site, I strongly recommend you grab this bargain now…”
Allan Gardyne, Associate Programs

“Finally, a no-hype manual worthy of being printed and referenced over and over again.” … “Once you finish reading Top Linking Secrets, you’ll never worry about how to identify and locate quality links – ever again. Highly recommended!”
Fabian Lim, SEO professional.

“a 106-page ebook and series of videos that takes you by the hand and makes you a link-building expert”

“This will pay for itself in increased productivity for my team literally in *hours*, not days. Thank you!”

“My advice to anyone reading this – BUY THIS NOW, it’s possibly the best guide there is on how to get free traffic to your website.”
Michael Cheney

“Anyone wanting to get ahead in the SEO game must already know the value of getting high quality back links – your course over delivers big time!”
Chris Freville

“Top Linking Secrets is going to be invaluable to you in achieving those coveted rankings on Page 1 of Google”

“It’s a great ebook and videos you’ll want to have to help you improve your linking!”
Mike Liebner

“So, essentially, the 2 basic ingredients are “quality content” and links to those content. Neil Shearing has written a superb ebook on this topic” … “I highly recommend it”
Adrian Ling

“I’ve seen it and it’s good. So good in fact that I’m recommending it to everyone involved with the Traffic and Leads program.”
Keith Baxter

“If you love to create *free* traffic using natural SEO, then you definitely want to check this out.”
Gauher Chaudhry

Follow Neil’s advice in Top Linking Secrets :Â Give great content. Get great links. And your sites should do well in the search engines for years to come.

Highly Recommended for search engine traffic success.

Keyword research, and how to get more traffic, are two of the most requested subjects I’m asked for advice about. The way I see it is that the two are very interlinked.

That’s because the web runs on keywords and phrases, on tags and keywords. Nothing gets found through search engines without people typing in words and phrases. Video and audios and pictures don’t get found if they’re not tagged with keywords.

So using the correct words and phrases and tags on your web pages is vitally important. You’ve got to know the exact words people are using to find information in your niche and and you’ve got to use those words and phrases in the right context.

And it all starts with keyword research.

So with that in mind I’ve just started using a new tool called Keyword Research Pro.

Since it’s release a couple of weeks ago it’s shot to number one spot on Clickbank for keyword tools.

And after using it for just 30 minutes ( 30 minutes where I’ve uncovered some real gems in the niches I work in ) it’s easy to see why people are raving about this tool and buying it in such big numbers.

I’m seriously impressed.

Sorry, it’s not for sale at the moment because an update is pending
____________________________________________

Keyword Research Pro >>> Buy it now <<<

Try typing this coupon code 20off in the box provided, and you might get a discount of $10. I’ve no idea when it will expire, but at the time of making this post it’s working.

____________________________________________

Over the years I’ve bought and used most of the keyword tools and services, and they’ve progressively got better.

But Keyword Research Pro has leapt well ahead by combining the best features of all the other products and services, and giving you everything you could need from hot trends and niche ideas, to competitive analysis, and even the costs involved in buying clicks for PPC advertising.

This program offers it all. Everything you need.

Just go and watch the video on the sales page. If that doesn’t grab you nothing will.

You might not find keyword research exciting – though personally it’s something I really like doing, and I get a real buzz when I uncover a hidden gem – but whether you find it exciting or not it’s something that is an essential part of getting traffic to your sites.

Keyword Research Pro is going to make it much easier for you to get more traffic to your sites by giving you the exact low-competition phrases to target, plus let you see at a glance whether a niche is worth entering by showing you just how competitive it is.

If a certain phrase in a niche is too competitive you should just walk away from it – because you probably can’t compete with long established sites. Hundreds of thousands of people a week might Google the exact same search phrase, but if a hundred thousand web pages already target that exact phrase you’re really going to struggle to get your new site or page noticed.

But using Keyword Research Pro you can see search terms that other webmasters aren’t targeting as much. And you can target those phrases yourself.

Other search tools do this, of course. But where Keyword Research Pro is outstanding is in helping you to brainstorm new niches and come up with new ideas, plus letting you see at a glance just which subjects are worth building sites on. There are also so many built in options that I can’t see you ever needing to use another keyword tool, and for me it’s going to replace the 4 or 5 tools and online services that I’ve been using until now. And all for a low one off fee.

This new tool has it all, and it’s a well deserved best seller.

And you need to grab it quickly because it’s going to help you make money by giving you the exact low competition keyword phrases you need to use on your pages.

_________________________________________________

As a bonus, when you get it though my affiliate link, I’m giving you my secret list of my best untapped niches and niches within a niche.

At first glance that might not seem like the world’s greatest bonus. It’s not one of those attention grabbing over-the-top “valued at 25,000 when you buy this amazing $17 report” bonuses that you see some people offering in this Internet marketing niche.

But it’s a for real bonus, and one that will clue you into working in niches you’ve never even thought of.

If you develop sites around these niches and sub niches, you’ll soon know how good this bonus is, and you won’t be able to stop thanking me for handing them to you.

Why are they so good? Quite simply because they’ve escaped the attentions of the Internet marketing crowd.

These niches are so far off most people’s radar that they’re all but invisible.

Here’s the catch though. I’m restricting it to the first 30 people to buy Keyword Research Pro through my affiliate link. If you miss out on the first 30 I’ll send you just 10 niche ideas. (though I should imagine that those 10 will give you a big ‘aha’ moment and fill your head with ideas.

So jump in quick to grab the discount and the bonus.

Here’s the discount code again for $10 off the price :Â 20off

This is a look at Michael Green’s search engine ranking product called Google 1st, which is a ‘toolkit’ showing you how to replicate Michael’s amazing search engine rankings success, where he frequently grabs nearly all the spots on the front page of Google and the other search engines by following well planned Web 2.0 strategies.

The image above looks like a fantasy but it’s not. Michael can frequently grab nearly every place on page one of Google for his chosen keyword phrase.

They don’t all link to the same site, of course, because Google wouldn’t do that and doesn’t list sites that way,but they are all sites that Michael controls. In Google 1st he teaches you the exact steps to duplicate this search engine success.

So what do I think of it?

Sorry it’s no longer on sale pending an update

Short answer: Google 1st is expensive but well worth it. Excellent tutorials, and very good value when you consider all the free traffic the advice is going to bring you, especially when you think that you can blow the cost of it in one day on buying ads on Google

Long answer:

There’s been a lot written about the Google-1st Toolkit over the past few weeks – a product that was only launched on June 1st, but had plenty of advance orders taken for it.

Personally, even though I could have cashed in as an affiliate, I’ve held back from writing about it because I hadn’t seen the product so I couldn’t give you a valued opinion.

Anyhow I can tell you about it now because I got it a couple of days ago. And I’ve got to say straight-up that I’m very impressed by the both advice and the lack of b/s and hype inside it.

The main book is heading towards 200 pages of detailed how-to info. And I know straightaway, even without doing anything with it yet, that by following the detailed action steps you’re going to get your sites ranked a lot higher, and hence make more of that lovely paper that we get from banks.

So what is Google 1st?

Well it’s a new toolkit, from the well known entrepreneur Michael Green who is a successful business man both online and offline. While most of us selling on the Internet online do business online, I’d hazard a guess that Michael earns most of his fortune offline running his printing companies.

In other words he’s not one of these Internet hype merchants who I always tend to think of as the online version of a pimp or a seedy used car dealer selling a rust bucket.

_____________

Note: My friends and myself are not included in the above paragraph I’m talking about the one’s who put up fake pictures of their sports cars and massive houses and give me the feeling that they’d auction off their grandmother if they could get a few dollars for her. You know the type I mean.

_____________
As the name implies, Google 1st is a system that can reliably, regularly, and quickly (within hours to a few weeks depending on the keyword phrase you’re targeting) get your web sites on the front page of Google’s search results for popular keyword phrases.

It’s a big claim to make, but Michael using the exact same methods detailed in Google 1st, proves himself by showing us examples of his own rankings.

For one popular three word phrase relating to his offline business, a phrase which returns over 30,000 competing web pages, Michael has most of the top 10 positions in Google. Including the top 7 In fact the only listing that doesn’t link to one of his own sites is position number 8.

And get this – for the main keyword for his offline business (a keyword which has over 9 million competing web pages) Michael’s business is at number 1, 3 and 5 on the front page of Google.

______________________________

So the big question is how does he do it (and do it consistently) ?

No, actually the big question is how can YOU replicate what Michael does?

Well sorry, but as you’ve probably guessed, I can’t tell you the exact steps and techniques because it’s a confidential part of the toolkit, but also because it’s too involved and needs explaining in detail.

It’s not complicated, it’s not hard to do for yourself, but it is beyond the scope of this newsletter to explain even a fraction of it.

What I can say ( at least I hope I can, without upsetting Michael by revealing too much) is that you will achieve your rankings by utilizing various Web 2.0 properties (amongst other methods). Simple to create videos also come into the equation.

It’s not just web 2.0 techniques though – because these tend to rank well and then disappear – but a combination of both short and long term techniques which interact to produce the excellent rankings.

So Google 1st actually puts together a number of different approaches into a single easy-to-follow strategy.

Michael recommends targeting keyword phrases with around 100k results and a difficulty of not more than 70%.

And also by not going for single or even two word phrases -Â though as his examples prove number one positioning for anything is not impossible. So we’re looking at slightly long tail phrases here (though not overlong obscure ones which won’t bring you much traffic even if you completely fill the first page of every search engine).

Example: you wouldn’t try and use Google 1st to get to number one for the word shoes.

With work though it could get you to the top for “walking shoes”, and with much less work “waterproof walking shoes”

Note: I just made that up as an example, and I haven’t used my new favorite keyword tool to check the difficulty level of those phrases – but it’s short phrases you should be aiming at not single words.

So what you do is target a series of medium difficulty keyword phrases, each of which are good in their own right and bring you good traffic, and then due to the linking structure provided by the toolkit, you can (and should) end up with one or two very good Google result placements for single or double keywords.

That’s how Michael got to number 1, 3 and 5 on Google for his main keyword (from nowhere previously), as I wrote higher up.

In other words, the collective work you do to get semi long tail phrases ranked high, often leads to ranking high on seriously competitive keywords with millions of search results.

As you can see I’m impressed by Google 1st, and it’s going to change the way I approach my SEO work.

Especially as it’s all squeaky clean white hat and there’s nothing you will do to upset Google and get your sites banned.

Every time someone asks me what steps they should take to be able to quit their day job, and earn a living on the Internet, I tell them the same thing: You’ve got to sell something.

And you have got two choices.

You either become an affiliate of someone else’s product, and compete with the hotshots of affiliate marketing who all have massive mailing lists or/and spend heavily on PPC (pay-per-click) advertising.

Or

You create and market your own products.

And inevitably, when people think of the damage that PPC could do to their already existing credit card debts, people start getting excited about developing a product, and then a range of products of their own.

With your own product (s) you end up with the hotshots of pay per click spending on ‘their’ credit card to promote you, while your own cards stay safely tucked away in your wallet or purse.

The big question (if you’re fairly new to this Internet business world), is how do you create your own product? And how do you market it? And how to do go on to create a product line or funnel? And how do you grow your business?

Ok, that’s four questions really

A product called IM Cash Evolution aimed at total newbies, informed newbies and novice marketers launched a couple of days ago, and aims to answer these questions and more.

It’s all about product creation, about why you should do it. And it methodically shows you how to create a product without breaking the bank (essential if you’re just starting out).

The reason I’m telling you about it right now, even though I’ve not finished going through it all seeing I only got my hands on it today, is that the price is increasing soon. So you’d better jump in quick.

Naturally, as it’s aimed at relative beginners to the online world of Internet marketing and product creation, I already knew most of the advice contained in the pdf’s. (I haven’t had time yet to look at the videos, but the pdf’s are very detailed and step-by-step) but when I got the people I’m staying with to go through it all they became very excited at the possibilities it opened up to them.

“If we did that we could move to France, and live by the Mediterranean ” I heard one of them saying.

“I want a yacht,” the other said

But that’s getting somewhat ahead of themselves. There’s not really such a thing online as instant success, no matter what the guru hype merchants tell you.

You’ve got to put all the hard work in first.

But IM Cash Evolution will definitely set you on that path, and like I said at the beginning of this, I really believe that creating your own products is the very best thing you can do for long-term success.

Inside IM Cash Evolution you get 5 pdf’s, and 7 videos which you can either download or watch online. Plus a couple of bonuses.

For me, one of the great things about this package is that the person who created it, Alan Tedman, was a newbie
himself just a short while ago. He paid a lot of money for coaching, and he’s put what he learnt into practice.

And he gets everything he learnt across to you very well. It’s almost like he’s passed that expensive coaching on to you at a bargain price.

This is very cheap for what you get. Follow the steps and you’ll do well online.

For more on product creation see the still growing page at http://philwiley.com/resources/product-creation/
